Caribbean Food Crops Society

Online registration for the 44th Annual Meeting of the Caribbean Food Crops Society closed on July 1, 2008. If you have not yet registered, you may do so on site, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2008.

Participants who pre-registered and paid online will receive free transportation from the airport to the hotel and will receive express check-in at the registration tables.

Below are the options you will have to choose from when you register on-site in Miami. Decide what items you are purchasing and have your payment information ready prior to entering the registration lines at the meeting hotel. That will help speed up on-site registration. The on-site registration prices will be the same as the pre-registration prices.

(A) The CFCS Member Registration Fee: This is for new or renewal members of the CFCS. Includes: 1) Full-participation in the conference general and concurrent sessions and includes registration materials, 2) Florida Cultural Night dinner, 3) Morning refreshments, 4) Welcome reception, 5) Poster cocktail reception, 6) Meeting Proceedings, and 7) Complimentary Honorary Membership to CFCS for 2008-09. DOES NOT INCLUDE Awards dinner or Field trip participation. Each can be purchased separately.

(B) Non-CFCS Member Registration Fee: This is for those who wish to attend the conference, but do not wish to become members in the Society. Includes: 1) Full-participation in the conference general and concurrent sessions and includes registration materials, 2) Florida Cultural Night dinner, 3) Morning refreshments, 4) Welcome reception, 5) Poster cocktail reception, and 6) Meeting Proceedings. DOES NOT INCLUDE Awards dinner or Field trip participation. Each can be purchased separately.

(C) Tuesday Only Invasive Species Workshop: Includes the Invasive Species Workshop on Tuesday July 15. Includes: 1) Full-participation in the conference general and concurrent sessions on Tuesday, July 15 and includes registration materials, 2) Morning refreshments, 3) Poster cocktail reception. DOES NOT INCLUDE Florida Cultural Night, Awards dinner, or Field trip participation. Each can be purchased separately.

(D) Student Registration Fee: This is for graduate and undergraduate college students. Includes: 1) Full-participation in the conference general and concurrent sessions and includes registration materials, 2) Morning refreshments, 3) Welcome reception, and 4) Poster cocktail reception. DOES NOT INCLUDE Florida Cultural Night, Awards dinner, or Field trip participation. Each can be purchased separately.

(E) Spouse/Guest Fee: This is an option for those registered participants to bring a spouse and/or other guests who want to participate in evening activities and morning refreshments. Includes: 1) Florida Cultural Night dinner, 2) Morning refreshments, 3) Welcome reception, and 4) Poster cocktail reception. DOES NOT INCLUDE Awards dinner or Field trip participation. Each can be purchased separately.

(F) Florida Cultural Night Fee for Students: This is only for students who wish to participate in the Florida Cultural Night to take place the evening of Monday, July 14th. Includes food and entertainment.

(G) Awards Dinner: Includes dinner and awards presentation and entertainment on Wednesday night, July 16th in the Starlight Ballroom.
